Swollen Tonsils With Blood Blisters

goodbye 's time to put the supers? Clipboard

Apis Friend has done Thursday, April 22, to place the supers on the number of beehives for honey collection. What
collect these days? When the acacia blossom? Climate that awaits us in the coming days?

These are questions that every professional and hobbyist beekeeper is when the spring is starting to revive the plant, and determining a bit 'of concern about the exact date of placement of the supers. But
let's see where we stand with the flowers and try to make some considerations.
These days the flowers of rape are shown with the yellow, typical of this wonderful plant, which is visited by bees as rich in nectar and pollen.
For bees is a good booty to replenish the stocks of empty combs and then feed the young bees, but rape is a problem for those who want to collect the precious acacia, if rape is stored in the supers and then the ' it runs the risk of acacia honey with a delicate mix such as acacia with an unpleasant smell from that smacks of "sweaty feet" (the rape) and then get a honey characteristics not perfect, and therefore less acceptable to consumers.
The rape also leads to premature crystallization and then the honey is more difficult to machine and remove the honeycomb, by centrifugation.
Basically, if you put the supers long before the flowering locust trees, we risk a little to settle the bees' rape, on the other hand, if the delays between the supers are likely to lose a few precious days to bees flowering dell'infestante more expensive to beekeepers (acacia).

Faced with these questions the beekeeper chooses on the basis of their experience the best time for the laying of the supers, and in our case the experience has taught us that it is best to do this some day before to allow the bees to become acquainted with the new space located above them (the supers) and start cleaning and preparing the new combs nectar (acacia).
And if a few drops of the nectar of rape ended in the cells, do not throw some of the valuable work of bees!
Soon, however, end the rape flowering acacia to make way for the bees and then begin the work of the year's most anticipated and delicate.
soon
