the Radovljica beekeeping museum is located in the old town, in the main square. impossible not to bump into.
the exhibition, organized in 6 rooms, guides you through the main themes of beekeeping in Slovenia.
in the first room you start from the beginning, to get to half dell'1800 and Anton Janša and Glavar peter pavel, beekeepers / teachers / authors of international renown.
in the second half we started from room 800 and you get to mid-900. Here is the master anton žnideršič, inventor of the beehive that made the old kranjič hanging on a nail, I mean the one with the decorated doorways, which is given throughout the third stanza.
then continue with a room devoted to the biology of native breed Slovenia, Kranjska cebela or kranjska Sivka (Apis mellifera carnica ).

in the sixth and last room, however, are occasional exhibition space, such as children's drawings on "bee" there these days.
the museum is not very big, but it is rich in objects and information and is worth every € 3 of admission.
